To be clear you do NOT need to purchase the wifi plan to use this. You simply connect to their on board wifi and it functions with all features. One thing we liked is having menus available for to check out for restaurants around the ship. On the ship, you’ll connect to the ship’s wi-fi for the app to run. Don’t worry, even though Internet is expensive on a cruise, the app runs for free over the ship’s wi-fi. You can download the Carnival Hub app in a few places. Who has time on a cruise to wait around in line or wait around for a seat? All that waiting is gone, thanks to the app’s virtual reservations and queuing capabilities.
