The app will remind you 15 minutes before the event to give you enough time to make it on time. I scheduled a dinner at the steakhouse (which I highly recommend) for a party of 12. (I had to go to the steakhouse to make the reservation since you can’t do more than 9 people within the app. I could’ve called too but I like to do things in person sometimes). A few minutes after reserving everyone, it pushed a notification to everyone’s app letting them know they have a reservation.

I start out on the app then the app takes you to the manage your cruise on the website site. So I’m really following however carnival has it going. Either way I can book dining for everyone that traveling with me.

You can also see what other people in your party at interested in attending. It a nice app as long as you are connected to their wifi. To be clear you do NOT need to purchase the wifi plan to use this. You simply connect to their on board wifi and it functions with all features. You can do so much on your Carnival Hub app before you even set foot on ship!
One thing we liked is having menus available for to check out for restaurants around the ship. On the ship, you’ll connect to the ship’s wi-fi for the app to run. Don’t worry, even though Internet is expensive on a cruise, the app runs for free over the ship’s wi-fi. You can download the Carnival Hub app in a few places. Who has time on a cruise to wait around in line or wait around for a seat? All that waiting is gone, thanks to the app’s virtual reservations and queuing capabilities.
